“Legacy of Honor” is the New Mexico National Guard’s motto. SMA(R) Dailey welcomes CSM Robbie D. Cantrell, State Command Sergeant Major, New Mexico Army National Guard to discuss its militia roots, and how the organization now supports United States and the state of New Mexico in day-to-day domestic missions and national anomalies like the pandemic. For instance, its “Task Force COVID” delivered food and water to pueblos, tribal land and communities in need, supported COVID testing and vaccinations, and more.

There is no shame in seeking help. Dr. James Helis of the Army Resiliency Directorate joins AUSA’s Dan Roper to talk about the Army Suicide Prevention Program. They discuss how the Army is addressing the complex challenge of death by suicide, and how it is taking steps to identify and influence the many factors that may help in preventing this harmful behavior. September may be Suicide Prevention Month but taking care of our Soldiers is a year-round activity.

Known as “Freedom’s Guardian,” the U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) is the Army’s largest command. SMA(R) Dailey interviews CSM Todd Sims, the senior enlisted leader for FORSCOM. Based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the command consists of more than 750,000 soldiers and is responsible for providing ready forces to meet combatant commander requirements around the world.
